Professional live-in care tailored to your life, your home, and your happiness.

"The absolute utmost of kindness, love and care"

My Philosophy

Living at home with a dedicated, professional carer can help maintain independence, comfort, and a strong sense of well-being.

Live-in care can include everything from friendly companionship and personal care to household tasks and daily routines. Whether you need support with complex health conditions or compassionate palliative and end-of-life care, I always tailor support to your needs and preferences with a positive, person-centred approach.

Together, we can create a comfortable and uplifting environment where you feel safe, understood, and supported — not just practically, but emotionally and personally.

About Me

Your Dedicated Live-in Carer

I'm Diane, born and raised in the heart of Yorkshire. I bring that same down-to-earth warmth, honesty, and steadiness into the care I provide.

My journey into care began when my grandad was diagnosed with dementia. I became his full-time carer so he could remain in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by what he knew and loved. I stayed by his side until the day he passed, making sure he was warm, safe, and cared for. That experience shaped the values I carry into every part of my work.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of supporting many wonderful individuals, each with their own stories, routines, and ways of being. I adapt my care to the person in front of me — to me, that is what true person-centred care looks like.

I treat all my clients as I would my own family — with respect, gentleness, and genuine kindness. That is, and always will be, important to me.

Outside of work, I enjoy fine arts, writing, travelling, volunteering with the RNLI, and spending time with people — all the things that keep life rich, creative, and connected. These interests help me bring a calm, positive energy into the home, and I love sharing moments of conversation, creativity, or simply quiet companionship with those I support.

What matters most is creating a home environment where you feel safe, understood, and supported — not just practically, but emotionally and personally. I'm here to offer patience, compassion, and real companionship, so you can live your life with comfort and confidence.

In tougher moments, I'm here to make things just a little easier.

Diane looked after my late mother for significant stretches of the last two years of her life, and did so with the absolute utmost of kindness, love and care. I and the whole family are very grateful to Diane for this and know that it helped my mother through a difficult period. We were always comfortable when it was Diane who was there.
